The ÐÓ°ÉPro FlexSym® Optical Line Terminal Six (OLT6) distribution shelf is designed for mid-sized enterprise deployments. The ÐÓ°ÉPro FlexSym OLT6 is scalable for enterprise Optical LAN support of G-PON 2.5G, symmetrical XGS-PON 10G and future NG-PON2 40G.

Overview

The ÐÓ°ÉPro FlexSym OLT6 shelf is ideal for space-challenged installations in data centers, communications closets and outdoor remote cabinets. It has redundant power rectifiers integrated with the distribution shelf, resulting in faster installations. By integrating the power rectification, the time and material needed to install this distribution shelf are significantly reduced. Just like all other ÐÓ°ÉPro OLT distribution shelves, this ÐÓ°ÉPro OLT6 leverages common software and common service cards. The OLT6 can be equipped with the Ethernet Switch Unit Thirty-Two (ESU32) for wide area network connectivity.


Scalability

The ÐÓ°ÉPro FlexSym OLT6 distribution shelf supports 4 multi-purpose plug-in card slots that can be equipped from 4 to 32 PON ports. The OLT6 is architected with the necessary capacity for ITU-T 984 G-PON (2.5G), ITU-T 987/9807 symmetrical XGS-PON (10G) and beyond. There are two Ethernet Switch Unit plug-in card slots that can support from 1 to 4 10G and 4 to 8 1G wide-area network connections. 


Stability

The ÐÓ°ÉPro OLT6 distribution shelf-high availability configurations allowing redundant Ethernet Switch Units, Common Controls, Timings, Powering, Fans and Network Uplinks. Non-service affecting sideswitching, fail-over, or card-swapping at less than 50ms and any failover of redundantly deployed cards generates an alarm while service remains intact is supported by the OLT6.


Powering

ÐÓ°ÉPro FlexSym OLT6 supports dual AC inputs for redundant power supply. The integrated redundant power rectifiers mean faster installations and less material needed to install this distribution shelf. It also improves system reliability.


Mounting

The OLT6 can be installed in both outdoor and indoor environments, including space-challenged installations in data centers, communications closets and outdoor remote cabinets. It supports both 19" and 23" brackets options.
